Build your career in immigration with Knightsbridge

Immigration is a field where knowledge matters, but knowledge on its own is not enough. Good advisers learn how to understand a client’s position, identify the real issue, work through the evidence and explain the options clearly. That takes training, practical experience and time spent around real casework.

Knightsbridge Immigration is an IAA-regulated immigration practice. We are interested in people who want to build a serious career in immigration advice, whether they are taking their first steps into the profession or already have experience and want to work within an established immigration practice.

We are not looking to build a team simply for the sake of numbers. We are interested in people who are committed to learning, careful with detail, willing to take responsibility and capable of developing with the practice.

Different stages need different opportunities

A person trying to enter immigration advice has very different needs from an adviser who is already regulated and managing cases. Our careers approach reflects that.

Early careers

For someone at the beginning, the biggest problem is often not enthusiasm. It is getting meaningful exposure to immigration work.

You may have completed training, started studying immigration law or decided that this is the profession you want to enter, but still be unsure how to gain practical experience and confidence.

Our Early Careers pathway is for people who want to learn by being close to real immigration work. The focus is on practical development, structured learning, case exposure and building the habits expected in a regulated professional environment.

If your aim is to become an immigration adviser and you are prepared to invest time in learning properly, our Early Careers pathway may be the right place to start.

Experienced immigration advisers

If you are already working in immigration, the question is different.

You may be looking for a reputable IAA-regulated practice where you can handle good-quality work, contribute your experience, continue developing and become part of something that is growing.

Knightsbridge is open to conversations with experienced immigration advisers who take professional standards seriously and want to work in an environment where case preparation, client care and sound judgement matter.

What we value

We are interested in people who think carefully before they act.

Immigration work can affect families, careers, businesses and a person’s future in the UK. Attention to detail is therefore not optional. Neither is honesty with clients.

We value people who are curious, organised and willing to keep learning. We also value people who understand communication, deadlines, service and the importance of building long-term client relationships.

You do not need to know everything. Nobody does. You do need to be prepared to learn, ask sensible questions and take responsibility for improving.

What you can expect from Knightsbridge

We want people to understand how immigration work is handled in practice, not simply how the rules look in a textbook.

Depending on your level and role, that can mean exposure to case assessment, evidence, application preparation, client communication, compliance, file management and the reasoning behind case strategy.

For developing advisers, we want learning and practical experience to reinforce each other. For experienced advisers, we want to create an environment where professional judgement is respected and there is room to contribute to the wider development of the practice.
