Join the Knightsbridge Immigration Professional Panel

Knightsbridge Immigration works with individuals, families and businesses across a wide range of immigration matters. Sometimes a client needs expertise, representation or a level of legal support that sits outside the work we are undertaking for them. When that happens, we want to know exactly who we are comfortable introducing them to.

Our Professional Panel is being developed for solicitors, immigration specialists and other appropriately authorised professionals who share our approach to client care and want to build a long-term professional relationship with Knightsbridge Immigration.

We are interested in more than simply having a list of names. We want to know the people and firms we work with, understand where their strengths sit and have confidence that a client introduced by Knightsbridge will be treated properly.

A professional relationship built around the client

Our clients matter to us. By the time somebody has instructed Knightsbridge, they have placed a significant amount of trust in the practice. If we introduce that client to another professional, we are extending some of that trust with them.

That is why client care sits at the centre of our panel.

We want clients to feel looked after

A client should not feel as though they have simply been passed from one organisation to another. Where a matter is introduced to a panel professional, we want the transition to be clear, organised and handled with the same level of care the client has already experienced with Knightsbridge Immigration.

That means good communication, realistic expectations, professional courtesy and keeping the client’s interests at the forefront of the work.

The kind of professionals we want to work with

We are interested in hearing from reputable:

  • immigration solicitors and law firms;
  • experienced IAA-regulated immigration advisers;
  • barristers and specialist counsel;
  • professionals handling complex immigration, nationality, human rights or appeal work; and
  • other specialists whose expertise complements the work undertaken by Knightsbridge Immigration.

The exact structure of the relationship may differ depending on the professional and the type of work involved.

Client introductions

There will be circumstances where a client requires a service or level of representation that is better handled by another suitably qualified professional. Where appropriate, Knightsbridge may introduce suitable clients to trusted panel members.

We do not want to make introductions simply because somebody appears on a list. We want to understand what each panel member does particularly well so that clients can be directed towards professionals whose experience is relevant to their circumstances.

Specialist input and collaboration

There may also be matters where Knightsbridge remains involved but specialist input is needed on a particular issue.

We are therefore open to relationships with experienced professionals who are comfortable discussing difficult cases, providing specialist legal input where appropriate and working alongside our team under clearly defined arrangements.

For us, the best professional relationships are those where knowledge can be shared and the right expertise can be brought into a matter when it is genuinely needed.

Working together over the longer term

We are not approaching the Professional Panel as a one-way relationship.

There may be work Knightsbridge is well placed to handle and work that is better suited to another panel member.

We are interested in building relationships where professionals understand each other’s strengths and can work together when the circumstances justify it.

The arrangement must always make sense for the client first.

What we expect from panel members

Our expectations are straightforward.

Put the client first

Clients should be treated with respect, kept informed and given clear advice about their position.

Know your area

We want to work with professionals who are comfortable with the work they accept and who recognise when a matter requires different or additional expertise.

Communicate properly

Good professional relationships depend on communication. If a client has been introduced by Knightsbridge, we expect their matter to be acknowledged and progressed appropriately.

Protect the relationship

A referral or introduction should strengthen the client’s experience, not create confusion about who is responsible for the work.

Clear roles, proper handovers and professional boundaries matter.

Maintain professional standards

Panel members must hold any authorisation or professional status required for the work they undertake and maintain the standards expected by their own regulator.

What you can expect from Knightsbridge

We will approach the relationship in the same way. Where we introduce a matter, we will aim to provide a clear explanation of why the client is being introduced and what support appears to be required.

We will respect professional boundaries and avoid unnecessary interference once responsibility for a matter has passed to another professional. Where collaboration rather than a full handover is appropriate, responsibilities should be clear from the beginning.

Most importantly, we will not expect another professional to compromise their judgement simply because a client has come through Knightsbridge.

Interested in joining our panel?

If you are a solicitor, immigration specialist or appropriately authorised professional and believe your expertise could complement the work of Knightsbridge Immigration, we would be interested to hear from you.

Tell us:

  • who you are;
  • your professional or regulatory status;
  • the areas of work you specialise in;
  • the types of matters you are particularly interested in;
  • and how you see a relationship with Knightsbridge working.

Please contact Knightsbridge Immigration through our website and mark your enquiry “Professional Panel”.

We are looking to build a relatively small network of professionals we know, trust and would be comfortable introducing to our clients.
