Walk into the Immigration HUB
Sometimes it is easier to explain your immigration situation in person. You may have a question about your current permission, need help understanding an application or want to discuss bringing your partner to the UK.
Our Derby office at 113 Upper Dale Road is a customer-facing Immigration HUB, designed to welcome walk-in enquiries.
Unlike our other locations, which are within office buildings, Derby is our first shop office created specifically for people who want to come in and speak with us. Our reception team will welcome you on arrival. Tea and coffee are part of our hospitality, giving you space to settle in before your consultation.

Walk-in appointments and online consultations are available.
This is a busy office. Walk-in waiting times can be up to one hour, so please allow time for your visit. If your availability is limited or you have an approaching deadline, call beforehand to discuss the most suitable arrangements.
Your first 15 minutes
Upon walking it, speak to our reception team to provide them with a short brief on exactly what you want to discuss. They will log you into the system and book your appointment.
Our free consultations last 15 minutes. You explain your situation, what you want to achieve and any dates that concern you. We provide an initial Case Assessment based on the requirements relevant to the route being considered.
You do not need a complete document file to begin. If you are unsure which application you need, explain the outcome you are hoping for. We will ask the relevant questions.
The assessment helps establish whether we can assist and what the appropriate next step would be. Detailed advice, document assessment and application preparation are agreed separately where required.
UK immigration support in Derby
Our Derby office focuses on UK immigration enquiries for individuals, couples, families, students and workers.
You might be seeking advice about a spouse or partner application, preparing a visa extension or considering an employment opportunity. You may also want to discuss your progress towards settlement or British citizenship.
We start with your circumstances rather than assuming that a familiar application name gives us the whole picture.
For example, an extension may involve changes to your employment, household or finances. A work enquiry may require information from your employer. A family application may depend on understanding each person’s current position.
Tell us what has changed and what remains uncertain.
Explore spouse and partner visas.
Explore Skilled Worker visas.
Explore student and graduate visas.
Explore indefinite leave to remain and British citizenship.
Preparing for a paid consultation
Bring your relevant paperwork with you and send whatever you can in advance.
Useful material may include correspondence you want to discuss, details of your current permission or documents connected with the question you are asking. We can explain what would be helpful when arranging the consultation.
If something is missing, tell us. Do not delay your initial enquiry because you have not gathered every record.
A short outline of your questions can also help you use the appointment well. Start with the decision you need to make or the concern you want resolved.
Clear costs before further work
Following your initial assessment, we can provide a free estimate for proposed work.
Before you instruct us, we explain the service, its scope and our fees, alongside separate application charges and anticipated costs. Any additional paid work is discussed before proceeding.
We also explain whether your enquiry falls within our authorised scope and where other professional support is needed.
Continue from home
