Who this service is for

This service is designed for people preparing their own immigration application who want professional scrutiny of their completed form and supporting evidence.

You should have selected your intended route, completed the application for review and assembled the documents you plan to submit. You remain responsible for making any changes, obtaining further evidence and submitting the application.

If you are still deciding which route fits your circumstances, an Advice Consultation can help you establish what needs considering before you prepare an application.

What we examine

Your completed application

We assess the information recorded in your application against the requirements relevant to your chosen route.

This includes identifying missing information, answers requiring clarification and matters that affect whether a requirement can be assessed. Where an answer raises a question that the supplied material does not resolve, we explain what needs attention.

The review is based on the application version and information you provide.

Your supporting document pack

We examine the supporting documents to assess what they establish about the relevant requirements.

Depending on the route and evidence involved, this includes considering whether a document contains the required information, covers the relevant period and meets any applicable requirements concerning its date or format.

The assessment asks: what does this requirement call for, and what does the evidence supplied actually demonstrate?

For example, an employment letter may confirm that someone works for an employer while omitting information required for the particular application. We identify the relevant omission and explain why it matters.

Documents that need to be considered together

Some requirements depend on several documents supporting the same point. Where this is necessary, we consider those documents together.

For example, an assessment of employment income may require examining payslips alongside bank statements showing the salary payments. That comparison forms part of assessing the relevant requirement.

Each review reflects your application, circumstances and evidence.

The scope of the review

The service focuses on assessing your application and evidence against the relevant requirements.

It includes comparisons between documents where those comparisons are necessary to assess a particular requirement. It does not include a comprehensive check of every factual detail for consistency across the entire application pack.

Any material discrepancies identified during the review will be brought to your attention. If missing information or an unresolved issue prevents us from reaching a conclusion, we explain that limitation.

You remain responsible for providing complete and accurate information and documents.

What your written feedback explains

Your feedback is organised around the requirements being assessed. It explains:

  • The requirements considered and the evidence reviewed.
  • What the application and documents demonstrate about those requirements.
  • Missing evidence, incomplete information or issues requiring clarification.
  • Any matters on which the available material does not support a conclusion.
  • The actions needed to address the issues identified.

Where the supplied information supports a requirement, we explain our assessment. Where it does not adequately demonstrate that a requirement is met, we explain the gap.

This gives you a practical basis for deciding what to amend, clarify or obtain before proceeding.

Our findings relate to the information and documents reviewed. They do not guarantee that the Home Office will approve an application.

How the service works

1. Confirm the application to be reviewed

Start with Case Assessment. Tell us which application you are preparing, how far you have progressed and whether you have a submission deadline.

We establish whether this service is suitable and falls within our authorised scope. We confirm the work and explain how to provide your completed application and supporting documents before you pay.

2. Make payment and provide the complete pack

The £550 fee is payable in full upfront.

Work begins once payment is complete and we have received the application, supporting documents and information required for the agreed review.

If material is missing, we explain what is needed. We confirm when the pack is ready for review and when you can expect your feedback.

3. Receive your written findings

We assess the application and evidence and provide written feedback within three working days of receiving both payment and the complete material required.

The agreed review concludes when we deliver that feedback. You then decide how to address the findings and proceed with your application.

Fees, further work and second checks

The fixed fee of £550 covers the agreed Application and Document Review and written feedback. Knightsbridge is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

Additional work and second checks are charged separately. This includes reviewing replacement documents, reassessing an amended application or carrying out further work arising from the findings.

We explain the proposed work and agree the fee before undertaking it.

Changes made after our review are not automatically covered by the original feedback. If you want us to check whether revised material addresses the points raised, a further review must be agreed.

When Full Representation may be more suitable

Application and Document Review gives you professional feedback on an application you have prepared and will continue to manage.

If you want Knightsbridge to develop the application with you, Full Representation includes the agreed assessment, application plan, personalised evidence requirements, preparation, supporting letters, checks for consistency and submission work.

We can explain which service fits the work you need. Purchasing a review does not oblige you to instruct Knightsbridge for further services.

Arrange your Application and Document Review

Tell us which route you are applying under, whether your application and documents are ready, and any deadline you are working towards.

Allow time to act on the feedback before your intended submission date. The three-working-day turnaround covers our review; obtaining further documents or making changes may take additional time.
