Your application, built around your circumstances
Whether you are planning to live with family, continue your career or make the UK your longer-term home, your application needs to reflect your circumstances and the requirements that apply to you.
Knightsbridge builds each case individually, with detailed assessment, advice, evidence review and application preparation personally overseen by an IAA-regulated adviser. Your circumstances determine the application plan, the documents we request and the supporting letters we prepare.
We manage preparation and submission, then review and explain the Home Office’s response and your next steps. Additional casework after submission is agreed separately.
Fixed professional fees from £1,200, agreed before you instruct us. Pay 50% when signing the client care letter and 50% before submission.
Home Office fees and third-party costs are separate.
When full representation is useful
You may know which application you want to make but want professional help assessing the requirements, organising the evidence and preparing it properly. You may be unsure which parts of your circumstances need closer attention, or simply prefer an adviser to manage the preparation alongside your other commitments.
Full representation brings those tasks together. Your advice, application plan, document checklist and supporting letters are prepared specifically for your case. We review your evidence, prepare the application and manage the agreed submission steps.
You remain involved in confirming the facts and providing documents. We guide the preparation and explain the questions that need resolving along the way.
Our private client immigration services cover a range of family, work, study, settlement and citizenship matters. We establish whether your particular application is one we can accept before agreeing the service.
What your representation includes
Detailed assessment, advice and an application plan
We begin with your objective, relevant immigration history, current circumstances and important dates. We assess the proposed application against the requirements and identify questions that need answering before preparation progresses.
We explain the advice and the application plan: what needs to be established, which evidence is relevant and what you need to do next. If an issue needs resolving first, we explain it before treating the application as ready.
A document checklist created for your case
We create your document checklist after assessing your circumstances. Each request is based on the facts and requirements that your application needs to establish. Your income arrangements, immigration history, family circumstances or employment can affect which records are relevant.
We identify what is needed from you and, where relevant, a partner, employer or another person involved. As we examine the evidence, we explain any further information or clarification needed.
Evidence review and consistency checks
We examine your evidence against the relevant requirements and compare the information across your records, application and supporting letters.
Names, dates, employment details, financial information and immigration history need to give a coherent account. Where information is missing, unclear or inconsistent, we raise the point with you and explain what needs attention.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Our review helps identify matters requiring clarification from the material you supply.
Application preparation and supporting letters
We prepare the application using the facts established during assessment and evidence review. Supporting letters are drafted individually for your case, explaining your circumstances, the relevant evidence and any points requiring clarification.
For example, if two records give different employment dates, we ask what explains the difference and whether clarification is needed. The aim is to present an accurate account supported by the evidence.
You have an opportunity to check the factual information before submission and tell us about any corrections or changes.
Document uploads, biometrics and submission
We organise and upload your documents, book a biometric appointment where required and manage the submission process.
The order of these steps depends on the application. Some appointments and document uploads take place after the online form has been submitted. Those agreed submission-related tasks remain included.
Before submission, the application must be ready, your approval obtained and the final payment received. We explain any appointment or identity requirements you need to complete personally.
What happens after submission?
Our preparation and submission work ends once the included submission steps are complete. When the Home Office responds, review and explanation of that response or decision, and your next steps, remain included.
Preparing a substantive response to a request for further evidence, making another application or challenging a decision falls outside the core service. We explain and agree any separate scope and fee before undertaking it. We do not charge again for work needed to correct an error in our agreed service.
Where a matter requires work outside our authorised scope, we explain the need for an appropriately authorised adviser or solicitor.
Working with your adviser
An IAA-regulated adviser personally oversees every case. You can communicate with us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, and most of the service is managed online.
You do not need to live near one of our offices or attend in person to use the service. Where your application requires an appointment or identity check, we explain what you need to attend or complete.
You can meet our team before making an enquiry.
Preparation times and our submission schedule
We normally use Monday to Thursday for assessment, evidence review, drafting and preparation, with Friday reserved for submitting applications that are ready.
This gives the work a structured sequence. Your timetable depends on the evidence available, outstanding questions, your approval and the date by which the application needs to be submitted. We establish the intended timing with you before work begins.
If you need preparation in fewer than seven days, tell us the deadline at the outset. We can assess whether an accelerated service is workable, taking account of the evidence available, the requirements and our capacity. An agreed urgent application can be submitted on any day of the week.
Our preparation timetable is separate from the Home Office’s processing time. We cannot guarantee when the Home Office will decide an application.
Fixed fees and payment
Our starting professional fees range from £1,200 to £2,200, depending on the route and complexity of the case. We assess the work required and confirm your fixed quotation in writing before you decide to proceed.
Once the fee for the agreed work is quoted, we honour it. Your client care letter identifies the application, applicants and work covered. Knightsbridge is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our professional fee.
Payment is in two stages:
- 50% when you sign the client care letter.
- 50% before the application is submitted.
The final balance must be paid before submission. We take your intended submission date into account when explaining the payment arrangements.
For your application, Home Office fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge where applicable, and third-party costs are separate from our professional fee. These can include appointment charges, translations, tests and optional priority processing. We explain the relevant costs before you proceed.
If you later need a separate service or a fresh application, we explain the work and agree its fee before proceeding.
If something needs correcting
If a procedural error by Knightsbridge in submitting your application makes resubmission necessary, we will undertake that resubmission without an additional professional fee, where it is an appropriate step.
A fresh application requiring new evidence or further preparation may involve additional work and a separate fee. We first establish why that work is needed. We do not treat correction of an error in our own agreed work as a new chargeable service.
This commitment does not limit your statutory rights or any other remedy you may be entitled to.
The Home Office makes the decision on your application. Representation and careful preparation cannot guarantee approval.
Do you need the full service?
If you want advice on a defined question before deciding how to proceed, a Personal Consultation may be sufficient.
If you have already prepared your application and want agreed supporting documents examined before submission, our Document Analysis service may be more suitable. You can read more about when a document review is useful.
Full Representation is for clients who want assessment, advice, evidence work and application preparation managed together. Case Assessment helps us identify which level of help fits your circumstances.
Start with a Case Assessment
Tell us what you want to achieve, your current immigration position, any previous application or refusal and the date you are working towards.
Our guided Case Assessment helps us understand your enquiry and identify the appropriate next step. We explain whether we can assist and how any paid work would be scoped and priced before you decide to instruct us. The initial enquiry does not commit you to paid representation.
