Why Knightsbridge: How We Work
Before you commit to an immigration application, you may need to know whether your evidence supports it, which dates matter or what needs resolving first.
At Knightsbridge Immigration, we help you work through those questions and agree the support you need. Whether your plans involve living with family, continuing your career or recruiting for your business, we explain the advice and the work involved so you can make an informed decision.

Your circumstances determine the preparation
Two people applying under the same immigration route can need different advice. How income is earned, the dates in an immigration history, family circumstances or a proposed job can change the questions that need answering.
We explore those details before deciding how to approach the work. If your income varies or comes from self-employment, for example, the discussion needs to address how it is earned and what your records show. If you are planning settlement, your residence history and important dates deserve attention alongside your future plans.
For an employer, we consider the proposed hire in the context of the organisation, the role and the sponsorship responsibilities involved.
This is why our application plans and document requests are prepared around the individual case. We explain any issue that needs resolving before treating an application as ready.
Evidence with a clear purpose
Having a document and understanding what it establishes are separate tasks.
When you instruct us for Full Representation, we examine the evidence against the relevant requirements and compare the information across your records, application and supporting letters. If information is missing or inconsistent, we raise it with you.
For example, where two records give different employment dates, we ask what explains the difference and whether clarification is needed. The purpose is to establish an accurate account and understand what the available evidence supports.
You remain involved in confirming the facts. Before submission, you can check the factual information, raise corrections and approve the application.
Know who is behind the work
Knightsbridge Immigration is led by Abdul Basit Jabbar, our Managing Director and Principal Immigration Adviser, supported by a wider team working across client care, administration and business support.
An IAA-regulated adviser personally oversees each Full Representation case. The wider team supports the organisation of the work and your contact with the practice.
During representation, you can communicate with us by telephone, email or WhatsApp. Most of that work is managed online, so you can use the service without travelling to an office.
Knightsbridge Immigration Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority, registration number F202433340.
Advice you can understand and use
You should understand why a recommendation has been made, what it depends on and what you need to do next. We explain the reasoning and identify any information still needed to reach a reliable conclusion.
Our Personal Consultation gives you one hour with an IAA-regulated adviser to discuss the agreed route and questions. Within three working days afterwards, you receive personalised written advice covering the facts and assumptions considered, our advice, unresolved points and recommended next steps.
That written record gives you something to return to when gathering information or deciding how to proceed. The consultation is a standalone service, with no obligation to instruct us to prepare an application. Checking supporting evidence is a separate service.
Choose the level of help you need
Our Application and Document Review provides written feedback on your completed application and supporting evidence against the relevant requirements. You make the changes and submit the application yourself; additional checks are agreed separately.
Full Representation brings assessment, evidence work, application preparation and submission together. We prepare the agreed supporting letters, organise document uploads and explain any appointment or identity steps you need to complete.
For employers, our ongoing sponsorship compliance service combines help with records and important dates with access to a Client Success Manager and an online dashboard. Business application work is agreed separately.
You do not need to choose a service before contacting us. We can establish what help fits your circumstances and explain the proposed work.

Know what your fee covers
Before you instruct us, we explain the proposed service, its fee and the work it includes. Home Office fees and third-party costs are identified separately.
For Full Representation, we confirm a fixed quotation in writing. Payment is split: 50% when you sign the client care letter and 50% before submission.
The service includes reviewing and explaining the Home Office’s response and your next steps. Further casework, such as preparing a substantive response to an additional evidence request, is separately scoped and agreed before it begins.
You can consider the proposal and ask questions before deciding.
Tell us what you want to achieve
You may have a particular application in mind, or a question you need answered before making plans.
Tell us your current immigration position, what you want to do and any important deadline. If the enquiry concerns your business, explain the proposed hire or sponsorship issue.
We will establish whether we can assist and explain how any paid advice or casework would be arranged. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to paid work.
